Judges & Mentors:

BETH GRACE – KISS.FM Radio Presenter & DJ

Beth is the official presenter of the ‘Like That’ Show on KISS FM, every Tuesday afternoon from 2pm, featuring new tracks as well as featuring dear friends from the music scene on the show! Keeping you up to date with news, laughs and tunes! What a tunesday!

In her own right, disco-jockey Beth Grace has been a regular on the gig circuit since ’14, when she took on getting behind the decks, rather than the biddie begging for song requests. With her eyes set abroad, nothing is stopping her. She describes a ‘bucket list’ of venues and festivals that are on her ‘TO-DO’ list, (Yes… she went there)

‘Lesware’ was planted on the lips of many when his remix of dance anthem ʻTricky Trickyʼ began tearing clubs apart, racking up hundreds of thousands of online plays, and securing him a legion of fans. He followed up this newfound success with a spate of releases, both original and remixes, cementing himself as a heavy hitter of the industry. He later reached the number 11 spot on the highly revered ARIA Club Chart with his ʻWassup!ʼ EP, which dropped via Hype Records.

His hard work ethic granted him the opportunity to play at Stereosonic & Future Music Festival, and with upcoming releases on Ministry of Sound & Onelove, the reclusive, enigmatic Lesware is about to become very talked about.

SIMON SALERNO (Yasumo) (USM Mentor)

A man well cultured in music, of all kinds, from listening to Jazz, Fusion, Blues & Italian folk music as a child, to having his world opened up to a nightlife filled with Electronic Music. A duty befell upon him; to take his knowledge, skills, and talent, too apply himself to bring music lovers musical-treats for their enjoyment.
This journey led him down a path, which he found to be exuberating, to form a successful disco-house duo with his dearest friend, Yanni, together they brought the good-world – Yasumo! Simon has released show-stopping tracks on labels such as Ministry of Sound, Sweat it Out, Onelove, Etc. Etc & Vicious Recordings, which lead to his music being played on Australian soil (which he calls home) and abroad, featuring on BBC Radio 1 UK, Nova 100 & the Fox.
His Music has been played & supported by the likes of Maseo (De La Soul), A-Trak, Anna Lunoe, Tommie Sunshine, Stanton Warriors & Timmy Trumpet. This exposure lead to a string of high profile remix opportunities for artists & bands Savage, Guy Sebastian, Alpine, Accadamy, Arthur Baker, Jam Xpress & Rob Pix.

Simon has since achieved many accolades, some of which include supporting high profile artists Snoop Dog, Mylo, Hardwell & Deorro at festivals all around the country at Stereosonic, Summadayze, Future Music Fesitval & Parklife to name a few. He has also toured & held residencies at some of the countries premiere live music venues such as Revolver, Electric Circus, 161, World Bar, Billboards & Mynt Lounge.

He has held the number one position on the Beatport House & Pulse chart along with a string of top ten placing in the ARIA Club chart even taking out the number one position for his remix for Murph & Petch featuring Livingstone – You Can Call Me Al. But this is not the end of his story; he has learnt the craft of audio engineering, to provide an experience in the studio, to accompany his musical talent, gelling his skills together, to cross boundaries and keep pushing forward and to find that new undiscovered sound that sparks interest with his trained ear. There is no doubt that Simon is accomplished in his skill, knowledge and talent, he is full of passion, encouragement and vision, for himself, as well as mentoring the future generation of artists to help guide them along on their journey in today’s evolving music industry.
